Structural design & Evaluation
Coyne & Church provides structural design and evaluation services for new and existing buildings. With extensive experience in steel, wood, masonry and concrete foundation and structural systems, our services span from preliminary design through construction oversight. In addition to the design of new structures, we assist clients with the evaluation of existing structures (including historic buildings) for changes of use, proposed renovations and performance issues.

Our services span a project’s lifecycle from programming through construction and include risk management, OSHA regulations, code compliance, project controls, Building Information Modeling (BIM), monitoring and oversight, contract terminations, cost assessments, changes and claims.
failure analysis & disaster response
We have extensive experience investigating structural failures and providing post-failure temporary shoring and repair design services. Our experience includes the assessment of collapses and damage resulting from earthquakes, fires, explosions, wind, floods, snow, sinkholes, construction defects and design deficiencies. Our investigations utilize both non-destructive and destructive testing methods, as well as infrared thermography, 3D laser scanning and advanced computer simulations.
dispute resolution
With extensive experience in mediations, arbitrations and trials, we provide dispute resolution and expert witness services on a wide range of matters related to engineering and construction disputes. We have represented clients in complex negotiations on numerous projects totaling in excess of $2 Billion. Our clients have come to rely on us to identify the key issues at hand and clearly communicate important information and opinions.
